UPDATE! Kentec Electronics Statement Regarding Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Wednesday 25th March 2020 25 Mar 2020
Dear Kentec Customers,
In light of the latest UK Government measures, we wanted to give you an update on our current position.
Kentec is open for business and accepting orders and deliveries. And, as a key supplier to the fire alarm industry we want to be sure that we are able to support our customers who are on the front-line servicing sites where systems have failed and so leaving the occupants vulnerable and not protected.
Most of our office staff are working from home and we are now operating with minimum staff in our offices but still are able to fully support you with technical calls, customer services and where training is required by using digital platforms.
We will also be announcing a new training webinar programme to be launched next week, to further support your own engineers.
The factory and warehouse have adopted new working patterns to allow for social distancing, including staggered leaving times and shift patterns and remain to keep supply chain open and to continue with the delivery of our products.
All of this has taken place with the full support of our wonderful employees who have shown immense determination to keep supplying products for our customers and keep people protected.
With all the measures and new working practices our primary focus has been the protection of our staff, which is key during this very difficult period.
Kentec and our key suppliers had already arranged for additional stock to be held at our and their premises in the lead up to Brexit, which was not needed. We therefore have raw material stocks ready for manufacture and a good situation with finished goods to be delivered.
Our doors maybe closed but we are open for business as usual, and we would like to thank all our dedicated staff, customers and suppliers for their on-going help and support .
