Taktis UL Media Gateway Module

The Media Gateway Card is a communication device for the Taktis Fire Alarm Control Panel.

The Card provides connectivity to a remote monitoring centre via Sur-Gard Fibro or dial-up. SIA is the recommended format for usage, however Contact ID is also supported. Transmission can be made through one or two telephone lines and /or IP through Ethernet. Standard reporting codes are pre-defined, although the user may customise codes through Loop Explorer 2 software.
Utilising the Media Gateway Card also enables assimilation with third-party IP networks and equipment. In common with other Additional Cards in the Taktis range, the Media Gateway Card features simple ‘plug-in’ connectivity.
