Taktis® Vision provides a means of allowing full display and optional control of the Taktis® Fire Alarm control panel from a small and unobtrusive local control station.
The Addressable Matrix system uses flexible, fibre optic light guides to illuminate areas on a floor plan, laid over a high-resolution grid. This unique system dispenses completely with wiring and enables indicators to be moved, removed or added on site without the need for any wiring. Ideal for buildings such as hospitals where the building layout may evolve over a period. As the building changes, so too can the Addressable Matrix, with very little cost or disruption.
Addressable Ident panels provide a compact and attractive display for up to 24 indications from a Syncro AS or Taktis fire control panel. As with all inputs and outputs on the Syncro AS and Taktis Fire system, each indicator is fully programmable to indicate a variety of events as well as being fully programmable via cause and effects to operate in response to logically connected inputs.
Kentec addressable sounder controller units enable additional, distributed power and control for sounder circuits in situations where there are insufficient circuits at the fire alarm control panel or where additional power is required to power heavily loaded sounder circuits.
A range of enclosures designed to house I/O modules with or without a power supply. The I/O enclosure offers the installer the flexibility to create their own customised I/O panel.The standard I/O enclosure can hold up to 3 Syncro I/O modules or 2, if a power supply is incorporated.
Each Dual Loop Module provides control and connection of detection loop circuits for the Taktis Fire Alarm Control Panel. All versions of the Panel must contain at least one Dual Loop Module. The Dual Loop Module monitors loop device status and communicates with the Panel processor. The Dual Loop Module can be connected in available Panel card slots on the main or extension board to provide operating functions. It holds device configurations and operates in a standalone manner if necessary.
To further enhance the versatility of the Taktis Control Panel, the 4-Way Sounder Card can be added to provide additional sounder output capability. Each Card features 4 monitored sounder outputs, which can be individually programmed.
To further enhance the versatility of the Syncro and Taktis fire alarm system, four conventional detection circuits can be connected with up to 30 detectors per circuit. Conventional control panels can be replaced with this simple module, and existing conventional systems can be interfaced directly to modern analogue addressable control systems and networks.
To further enhance the versatility of the Syncro and Taktis fire alarm system, additional sounder output capability can be added using Sounder Boards. These boards have 6 monitored sounder outputs, each of which can be individually programmed. In addition to the sounder outputs each board has two general purpose, opto-isolated inputs and two volt-free changeover contact outputs.
To further expand the capability of the Taktis Control Panel, the 8-Way Relay Card can be fitted to provide up to 8 voltage free changeover relay contacts which can be individually programmed. All outputs are configurable in the same way as devices connected to the loops and all may be acted upon by cause and effect logic.
To further enhance the versatility of the Taktis Control Panel, the 8 Zone Conventional Card allows conventional detection circuits to be connected with up to 20 detectors per circuit. Conventional control panels can be replaced with this simple module and existing conventional systems can be interfaced directly with Taktis analogue addressable control panels.A fail-safe mode ensures that the detection inputs will still operate the sounder outputs and fire contact if communication to the Taktis panel is lost.
To further enhance the versatility of the Syncro and Taktis fire alarm system, additional relay output capability can be added using Relay Boards.These boards have 8 voltage free changeover relay contacts, each of which can be individually programmed. Up to 32 of these boards can be connected to the dedicated RS485 communications bus in the control panel, giving the capability of up to 256 additional relay outputs.
To further expand the capability of the Taktis Fire Alarm Control Panel, the 16 Channel I/O Card can be fitted to provide up to 16 monitored switch input/open collector outputs. Typical uses include geographical mimic displays and plant alarm inputs.
To add more I/O capability to the extensive options already offered by the Syncro and Taktis control panels, up to thirty-two, sixteen-channel I/O boards may be connected.The 16-channel boards may be mixed on the RS485 bus with 8-way relay boards, 6-way sounder boards, or 4-way conventional detection zone boards to provide a very flexible system of I/O to satisfy any requirement.
The Media Gateway Card is a communication device for the Taktis Fire Alarm Control Panel. The Card facilitates seamless integration with Kentec Graphical Fire Management Systems, Virtual Resource and the Vizulinx Alarm Management Solution.
Easy to fit and wire for additional control functions or to expand the capability of existing relay outputs, these simple boards contains either one or four 24V DC relays, which can be used for any extra-low voltage switching applications.
A range of indicator units with either red or yellow indicators to provide an audible and visual status of alarms, isolation’s or other functions.
These units are available with a keyswitch to silence the internal buzzer or a keyswitch to illuminate the indicator and buzzer. A volt-free contact is provided when the keyswitch is operated for ancillary control functions.
Remote Indicator Units provide an extension for LED indicators on hidden detection devices to allow their status to be observed without having to expose the detection device itself.
All units have dual, bright LED indicators with a wide viewing angle that flash alternately to attract attention, and are available mounted to square or round metal plates for fitting to standard electrical back boxes.
Designed to provide a convenient method of storing system test records, manuals, configuration files, keys and other documents or access arrangements for fire alarm and protection systems, the Sigma DocBox is finished and constructed in a similar manner to Sigma and Syncro AS fire alarm control equipment.
The Apollo Test Set is a portable test unit featuring a touch screen display capable of providing several functions in interrogating and controlling all devices connected to the unit, either individual devices or complete circuits of analogue addressable devices in the Apollo ranges (CoreProtocol, Discovery and XP95). The device offers fault finding capabilities which allows for time spent on site to be cut down during the commissioning stage of the system installation.
