Extended Addressing
The usable address range (1 to 127) can be extended from 128 to 254 for certain alarm devices, minimising costs.
Designed to meet the most demanding environments, the range offers simple installation for quicker commissioning. With secure open protocol flexibility, K-System offers a greater choice in system design and reduced cost of ownership over the system’s lifecycle, ensuring excellent value.

The usable address range (1 to 127) can be extended from 128 to 254 for certain alarm devices, minimising costs.

Accommodates up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs at each address. Each sub-address can be used within the cause and effects to give greater system flexibility.

K-System uses an Interrupt System to guarantee rapid responses from any device. The time lapse between operation of a call point and indication of fire on the system is typically less than 1.5 seconds.

K-System protocol minimises the possibility of data corruption using a proven combination of algorithms and applies parity and checksum principles to every packet of data.
Advanced controls within the K-System products include variable volumes and tones that allow systems to be tailored to achieve optimum performance.

Each K-System device has a unique type code. This allows the system to recognise what device type the alarm has been generated from. The K-System protocol can support 240 different type codes.
