The FIA is the largest fire safety trade association in the UK with 1200+ members. They are a not-for-profit organisation and a major provider of fire safety training with the objective to promote, improve and perfect fire protection methods, devices, services and apparatus.

They promote and shape legislation and the professional standards of the fire industry through close liaison with government and official bodies, as well as other key stakeholders. While also providing funding for research projects in line with our principal objectives.

FSSA is dedicated to protecting property, critical infrastructure, and people through the highest standards in fire suppression technology and practices.

The Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) is a global not-for-profit trade association. Their members include designers, installers, manufacturers, consultants, academics, and suppliers collaborating to share ideas and strategies to advance the fire suppression systems industry, emphasizing safety, reliability, and the effectiveness of special hazards fire suppression.
